How Visma Business solved United Gross' growing pains with an efficient ERP system

Food wholesaler United Gross has enjoyed great success, and as a result has expanded its business. The family business, founded in 1993, now imports thousands of products from over 90 countries worldwide, which has further strengthened their market position. Their 4000+ customers include restaurants, grocery stores, hotels and retail chains. The company has also been included in Sweden's Super Companies for three years in a row, and reached the final of the Gazelle of the Year competition last year.
However, success brought with it some growing pains. Like many successful companies, they soon realized that their old ERP solution could no longer handle all the transactions, invoices and customers. This led to many problems and hassles. Transactions and invoice flows have improved considerably, and stock management has also become much more efficient with the new system.
We can now easily see what batches have come in, shelf life, who we've sold to, and so on. Searching in the system is also very easy; we can search by customer number, name, quantity... yes, we can search and sort just how we want. Now it is much easier to find information compared to before. The new system has made our work much easier."
